OK I thought the first book was fantastic. I was hooked from the beginning. Then came book two
Bryunzet and all I can say is WOW. I love the characters and this author will keep you on the edge of your seats. Buy, Read, and Enjoy. By the way I am 60 years old and couldn’t put this book down. But read Book I, Wizardmont, first.

This second book in The Promise of the Stones series continues the adventures begun by Emory and Tostan in the first book, but on a much grander scale as they and their friends become unwitting participants in the war between the Delta Kingdom and the evil sorcerer Mellette and his Mishwa warriors. Can’t be beat for fast-paced adventure and pure escapist enjoyment!

I tried to read Bryunzet slowly so that I could savor the adventure, but I couldn’t do it! Just like Wizardmont, I was pulled into the story on the first page and I couldn’t put it down until the last page. I can’t wait until the next book!

Like the first book in the series, this book, Bryunzet, had me hooked from the very beginning. It continues the adventures of the young wizards introduced in the first book and explores even further the character of Tostan. It drove my wife nuts, but, I just couldn’t put it down. Mr. Lowe develops many different parts of the story seperately and then brings them together in a climatic finish. While you’re reading about one character and adventure, you are also thinking about the others and wondering if they are still okay, or if they succeeded, failed, or whatever. I was totally overcome with the book. I was even thinking about it when I wasn’t reading and can’t wait for the next book. So much fun and a wonderful escape. I highly recommend this book.
